Patching the ROM

Once you've dumped your cartridge to an .nds file, patching it with the English Translation can be done easily through the Patch ROM tool we provide, or by manually downloading the patch .xdelta file and using patching software, such as XDeltaUI to patch your ROM file.

Online patcher

1. Navigate to the Patch ROM page on this site.
2. Drag and drop your dumped .nds ROM file into the "Select ROM" box.
3. If you'd like to change some settings for the patch, use the radio buttons in the Options panel.
   • OP/ED subtitles: Configures whether the opening movie and end credits should be subtitled in English with Japanese karaoke typesetting.
   • Voiced line subtitles: Configure whether voiced lines in the puzzle phase should have supplementary English subtitles display on screen.
4. Check that the latest version of the patch is selected from the dropdown.
5. Click "Apply Patch" and your game will be automatically patched with the latest version. Save the patched ROM somewhere easily accessible. Be careful not to overwrite your original ROM, in case you need it later or if we update the patch.
6. You can now proceed to playing the game.
